Most credit card advertisements you see online are geared towards American credit card holders; there is a far greater number of agencies and financial businesses in the states than anywhere else, so the competition is fiercer and the corresponding perks are better. This may make you think that you cannot find the best credit card unless you live in the states. However, if you live north of the border, there’s no reason to feel like you’re missing out. Companies such as Capital One cross the border to give out very good credit cards with the same kind of perks that you’d see in the states (though finding a really low APR is difficult) and there are plenty of banks which give out credit cards in Canada as well. While Canadians don’t have the same range of companies to choose from, you can still get a very card no matter what your situation is and no matter what kind of rewards you are searching for.
